As I was dead-heading my Chrysanthemum, I couldn't help admire the beauty of its fading flowers, their dynamic, asymmetrical, whispy nature.

They are such a cool looking plant. I had to sketch it out.

One of my first art teachers had us create a character or creature on the first page of our sketchbooks. The idea being that they would be kick-ass characters that would protect your sketchbook.
This strange lady will be this sketchbook's bouncer.
