Big things come from small places!
I came from humble circumstances in small, desert towns. I was bullied as a kid and my dad died in the middle of track season my senior year. Not complaining; just saying. I worked hard, took the opportunities that presented themselves and thanked God for my talents and blessings. Work hard and stay humble. Who knows what you can make of your life?
So, I'm actually pretty excited for these clothes! I finally had a reason to purchase some legit outdoorsy clothes! I'll tell you though, finding legit, good clothes for outdoors and travel for big chicks is hard but, through @columbia1938 online selection, they do have a decent selection of clothes. My pants and shirt have UPF 50! I'm A guera so this is very valuable. Any who, these are light, breathable, and the pants are super stretchy!! Plus, this bag with pinecones I stumbled upon from @kavu is a great addition to my travel gear.

You know that John Mulaney joke where he said "I bet I know what most things feel like" then he had his prostate checked? That's how I was today when the speculum was inserted into my hooha
I just want you all to know, it's really important to keep yourselves healthy. Part of that is knowing your body well. That means looking and feeling. That way if there's a change, you can talk to your doctor. Please learn how things function, where they're located, and what normal is. I understand that some parts of our bodies are private and sacred but, people get so reserved about certain body parts that they'll neglect them altogether. The best cure for anything is prevention. Make your health a priority please! Love you, bye!
When I teach a group of lifters for the first time and I'm teaching them how to do cleans I usually say something like "raise your hand if you like breaking your wrists" and no one does. When you perform the clean, please keep your torso big and erect with your elbows high. If your elbows touch your knees, you will get a big ouchy. That's a no no, guys. (that's me wagging my finger disapprovingly)
If you're going to bail, it's acceptable to push yourself away from the bar. I've seen successful misses with dropping the elbows between the knees and pushing the butt back. I honestly don't even know why or how people are receiving the bar with their knees directly under their elbows and somehow are still able to lift. But, that's none of my business though. Any who, learning the hard way is still learning and I wish this victim health and a speedy recovery!!
