Wow, it's World Water Day today. We nearly missed it. Living in Sydney, we are so incredibly fortunate to have a clean, safe and available water supply. But for huge numbers around the world there is a severe water shortage, and getting worse with climate change. We've just read in the @guardian that "One in four of the world’s children will be living in areas with extremely limited water resources by 2040". What terrible statistics. And you know what, there are ways we can help. A nice little motto that resonated with us this morning. And here's an example why... I get on the bus this morning to find a very visibly distressed young woman having what seemed to be a breakdown following an incident with a Neighbour. The Neighbour had publicly spat in her face moments before I got on the bus. What shocked me the most is not that a human thinks that it's ok to do such a disgusting act to another human, but people's reactions to this kind of event. The young lady was clearly mentally unwell, but strangers on their way to work sat and ignored what was happening right in front of them. One looked out the window, one pretended not to hear and one just watched. Seriously?! If everyone brought their best version of themselves and treated people how they would want to be treated, we wouldn't have this kind of problem. 📷 @evalunadesielosingweight
