Due to the angle of coastline and prevailing trades (apart from Chatarra) Puerto Rico is known mostly for rights. But last week, when the winds got funky and the swell peaked, this spot decided to do its best Caribbean Teahupoo impersonation.
Breaking news: @kellyslater will (likely) not surf Snapper, due to his lingering foot injury from J-Bay. “As of today I am not planning to [surf],” Kelly told Surfline. Adjust your fantasy teams accordingly.
