Past and present. On the left we have a current day U.S. Army combat shirt and pant, typically made by Crye precision, and worn by U.S. Forces overseas. On the right is a WWII U.S. 2nd pattern Army HBT shirt, which is one of the Army's first BDU style uniforms. I mixed the two and came up with a modern day style combat shirt with WWII features- such as the HBT outer, 13 star buttons, forward facing cloth 48 star flag (as worn by various airborne troops, and in a larger size), and threw on FSSF and Kiska Task Force shoulder sleeve insignia. Pretty happy with how it turned out, just needs a little aging.
