The house next door to ours has been under renovation for months now - about 6 I think. Anyway, I’ve felt crowded even in my own home with people constantly out of every window, every inch of our street filled with trunks. Music blaring with someone singing along poorly. It’s been a lot. Today they wrapped the job- all the trucks went away. Even the port-a-potty went away. Hallelujah. Home feels like home again- I celebrated by overstuffing my dining room vase (which is very heavy when full- why my husbands arms are pictured) with the chilliest of chill, willow eucalyptus.
My sweet Mal! Meet Mallary Small, the woman behind @grandbones, one of the most talented artists I’ve ever known! This babe also happens to be our store manager & my right hand, I don’t think I could do life without her. Mallary has taught me so much about down right genuine friendship, I know we’ve been together in countless lifetimes. I’m so grateful she gets to be such a big part of my life this time around!
Ps how cute is she in her green color therapy shades! We have em in all the colors - just $12 each
Looking back on the past year I’ve seen the conversation change. I’ve watched the female force come together to empower each other. I’ve heard women pushing back against patriarchy & rising up in its face to shame it like a naughty little boy. We are the Mother. We are the future. Happy International Women’s Day sisters
