Since i am into fitness, i find it really difficult to indulge myself in those mouthwatering sweets because of the sugar content they have. Recently i got introduced with these really amazing high protein brownies that are the most healtiest brownies i have ever had.

오늘 저녁 먹고 집에 있는 거 이것저것 쥽쥽 먹어땅ㅋㅋ반성합니댜ㅜ대부분 건강간식 쥽쥽했지만 나쁜간식 콘칩도 고민하다 반봉지 먹음ㅋㅋㅋ못먹을것은 없지만 자기전 밤에 먹는건 소화도 잘안되구 여러모로 안좋기에 피하려고 노력하는게 맞다!

Добрый вечер, захотелось рассказать свои мысли о завтраке. ☀️
Мой идеальный - это овсянка жареная с яйцом + туда добавляю гору арахисовой пасты! 🙏🏽 Ничего другого уже не могу и не хочу есть утром. Вообще раньше готовила каждое утро разные каши: овсянка/пшенка/кукурузная/гречка с молоком. Но сейчас не могу осилить 70г крупы (в сухом виде), сваренные в жидкости (200-250 мл). Выходит слишком объемная порция, к которой необходимо еще добавить что-то белковое.🤷🏼‍♀️ Не лезет в меня, выкидываю обычно.. А жареная овсянка, разумеется не разваривается, увеличивается в объеме только благодаря 2м яйцам! В целом порция получается сытная, но не переедательная!😅 (не знаю существует ли такое слово) Кстати говоря, можно из всего этого сделать овсяноблин, но я все-равно больше предпочитаю в перемешанном виде. В общем то об этом и хотелось рассказать. Кушайте утром сытно, сбалансированно и не забывайте про полезные жиры!🥜🌰 😙

The topic of rice is one that comes up often when I’m talking to clients about their nutrition. Many tell me they switched to eating brown rice, even though they much prefer white, thinking that it’s somehow healthier or more fat loss friendly. But is that really necessary. If you enjoy eating rice, must you subject yourself to only eating the brown variety?

Nope, and here’s why.
.
As you can see, from an overall macronutrient perspective, brown and white rice are almost identical. However, I think where most people get confused is in assuming that because brown rice has more fiber, it somehow makes it healthier. However, this isn’t necessarily the case.
.
Yes, brown rice has more fiber, and yes all of the nutrients and fiber are eliminated when the outer hull is removed. But what many people don’t realize is brown rice also contains something called phytates and lectins, which are anti-nutrients. When ingested, these compounds prevent the absorption of vitamins and minerals if the foods it is being eaten with. So that’s strike one against brown rice. Also, these anti nutrients can make foods (like brown rice) more difficult to digest. White rice, on the other hand, contains none of these compounds and is essentially a pure form of safe starch that is usually well tolerated even in people with sensitive digestive systems.

So does this mean brown rice is unhealthy? Of course not. And if you prefer it over white and it doesn’t bother your gut, then you do you. But if you are choking it down simply because you think it’s healthier, then this is me giving you permission to stop. Besides, you can get enough fiber by eating more fruits and veggies throughout the day.

Personally I think brown rice tastes like cardboard so it’s team white rice all day.

Best exercises for back?

In general, compound exercises that include shoulder extension and/or adduction seem best for stimulating maximal latissimus dorsi. In Lehman’s terms, the lats appears to produce greatest muscle activity during any vertical pulling exercises such as pull-downs/pull-ups as well as during horizontal pulling exercises such as various row variations.

Deadlifts: Though not an essential exercise for back growth, Beggs et al (2011) showed that both a double overhand (pronated) or mixed (one hand pronated, one hand supinated) grip using heavier loads (80%1RM) displayed significantly superior lat activity than lighter loads (60%1RM). Therefore, if you opt to include deadlifts into your training program, heavier loads seem to be superior for overall stimulation vs lighter ones.

Lat pulldowns: Studies have concluded a pronated grip (Lusk et al 2009) brought to the front of the neck (not behind the neck) (Signorile et al 2002) using a “middle grip” of ~1.5 biacromial distance (Andersen et al  2014) be the most optimal in recruiting the lats during a lat pulldown. The addition of a close grip pulldown could also be an effective variation for increasing trap recruitment.

Pullups: Studies have shown both pullups and chin ups to elicit very similar amounts of lat recruitment when relative loads are equal (Doma et al 2013). However, though lat recruitment may be similar, bicep and pec recruitment have shown to be significantly more in chin-ups vs pullups which have greater trap and less bicep recruitment (Youdas et al 2010).

Rows: Though it’s still unclear whether horizontal or vertical pulling exercises display SUPERIOR lat activity, one study by Lehman et al (2005) reported that the seated row displayed significantly greater lat activity than the lat pull-down, especially when retracting the scapula therefore, a row variation is only of benefit in order to optimize your back training.

Practical implications: The lats can be maximised by using heavy loads and a mix of both horizontal and vertical pulling. What exercises you then wish to choose to train this horizontal and vertical pulling i.e. cable, dumbbell, barbell, seated, standing etc.

Working from Home today and I’ve been manic. Finally sitting down for my first meal - CarbZone wrap, cured meats, teaspoon of humous and cheese. Then an Atkins bar which I’ll munch shortly. I weighed today expecting to be a good 5lbs heavier then I was 2 weeks ago since I last weighed thanks to all the crap I ate last week... but I’m back down to my lowest weight so far of 2018 👌🏻 hoping by the end of the month I can lose another 7lbs. Yay for damage control 😂
