Bergie or Bergalicious is the nickname that his foster mama calls him. The vet estimates Berg's birthday to be in September 2011. He is a couch potato and loves putting his big heavy head on your lap or back or neck, whatever he feels more convenient. He is crate trained; you just have to tap the crate and say "go" or "vamos" and he does it. He understands both Spanish and English. He used to attend Wagville every day (doggie daycare) and did well there! He gets along with big dogs (doesn't really play with them but strolls with the pack) and gets along with little dogs. He loves to play tug of war with other dogs. He is not a barker; he only barks a couple of times to notify you if there is someone coming near the home. His foster recently taught him how to fetch the ball but he hasn't grasped the concept that he has to give the ball back...Berg is the ultimate cuddler, snores loudly, and drools occasionally. His favorite toy is his Kong. He is curious about cats (ears on attention) but doesn't go up to them or try to hurt them. He loves vegetables and veggie chips (kale, sweet potato). He loves belly rubs. He is very in tune with his person's emotions; when his foster comes home from a long day of work or a bad day he knows when she is sad and rests his head on her lap. As most pitties, he thinks he is a small lap dog and tries to fit his hippo self onto your lap. He loves sleeping in bed right next to you. He knows the commands "sit," "stay," and "roll over." He also is a fan of the car! Berg can be nervous at first when you meet him but as soon as he trusts you he warms right up. If you're looking for a super (and we mean SUPER) mellow couch potato of a dog, Berg is your guy. Email [email protected] for a adoption application.

Auggie is stuck in boarding and we'd like to find him a foster home or forever home! Auggie is looking for a new foster or forever home. He's a sweet lovable dog who enjoys cuddling on the couch. Auggie stumbled upon his old fosters front porch 2 years ago infested with ticks and fleas and no meat on his bones. He's good with kids and would do best being the only dog in the home unless a strong leader is present. Email [email protected] for a foster or adoption application. #adoptdontshop #dontbullymybreed

Pig is still looking for his forever! His most current foster says this about him: "What a lovable, silly, waddling, snorting boy our Piggie is!!! Pig is a sweet, low maintenance kind of guy. He just wants to be loved and fed ;). He loves everyone and is always happy to welcome visitors.  Pig doesn't require a lot of exercise, but can definitely use it as he's a bit of a porker.  Pig is easy on the leash and is responsive to corrections, very quickly.  He can be leash reactive, but in a mild way, and is easily corrected to get over it.  And given a proper introduction, he is totally fine with other dogs.  He is currently living happily with two other dogs after showing them his little leash reaction when they first met. It was kinda like, 'hey! I'm a dog! Just so you know!' Pig is wonderful with kids, including the little tots. He just wants to kiss them and eat their leftovers. We are working on Pig coexisting with cats. When given clear boundaries, he can be in the same room with them. With time, I am confident he can live peacefully with cats. He's too lazy to care enough ;). There have been times that Pig has exhibited separation anxiety, but it is not consistently present and I believe it is something he will only improve at with a stable forever home. This guy is really mellow, an easy keeper, and full of love. He would be a great first dog for any family." Email [email protected] for a adoption application.

Colt is a 5/6 year old neutered Lab (mix?) He is chipped and utd on all vaccines. He takes a little time to trust people, but if you show him affection, he quickly warms up. Does well with large dogs. He has been with little dogs too, but you have to let him know they are "friends" or he tries to punk them. He can be taught to coexist with cats. He has basic training and he is very smart and loves to learn. Must be an indoor dog. Ok with children who are taught boundaries and respect. Email [email protected] for a adoption application. 🚨FOSTER NEEDED Red Bull is stuck in boarding🚨Looking for a dog who lives up to her name? Red Bull is looking for a foster or forever home. She's energetic, full of life, and ready to find her perfect, active forever family today! Red Bull has lived with our trainer and a large pack of dogs. She does great with other dogs when strong leadership is present. Red Bull would also not mind being the only dog in the home. She would be a great "working" dog and would love a job to do such as finding hidden objects, maneuvering in obstacle courses, etc. She is 1 year old as of January 2017 and weighs approximately 40 pounds. Here is what our trainer has to say about her: "Red Bull is fun and funny. She is sweet and very social with my stable dogs. She is a very excited dog (like her name suggests). She will need strong leadership to guide the excitement to serve the family. She would benefit from hikes or runs and would need someone who can regain her calmness after the exercise is done. If her excitement is controlled to her human's liking she will be perfect! Red Bull can be calmed easily and live with several dogs. I have seen her initiate play with dogs who don't typically play. This was able to happen because she learned to initiate the play session calmly and respectfully. With strong leadership and willingness to keep her calm and respectful Red Bull will be a fun and great family dog. She can give children a great foundation to their experience with dogs." Adopt Red Bull as your very own "life of the party" today!

FOSTER NEEDED! Ricky is a playful pit bull type dog looking for a family to call his own. His birthday is estimated to be in February of 2015. This handsome boy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, in great health, crate trained, and housebroken. This is what his former foster mom has to say about him: "This sweet boy is athletic and makes a great running partner. He absolutely loves cuddles, hugs, and kisses. Ricky is very sensitive and can be fearful. Ricky needs a patient family who can help him understand that no one is going to hurt him. He is truly the sweetest boy ever and he has so much love to give. Out of all the dogs we have fostered or met, he stands out for being emotionally intuitive and loving." Ricky would do best as the only dog in the home. Best for a nervous-dog-experienced single owner or couple. Email [email protected] for a foster or adoption application. FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Spike is estimated to have been born in June 2011. Spike is an amazingly loyal dog looking for a foster or forever home. He is dog (with proper introduction; does great with the pack at our trainer's house) and kid friendly. His previous foster mom has observed that he tends to like smaller dogs better. Spike is eager to please, a quick learner, and becomes very attached to his person. He would love to become a member of your family! Here is what his foster mom has to say about him: "Spike is a loving giant and really great with kids; he has had no problems at the house. He is very calm indoors, never barks and does OK when left alone (I leave some music on if I'm gone for more than 4 hours so he's not sitting there in silence). On the outside his energy really comes to life; he loves to run and doesn't mind running alongside a bike. He does great hiking; the longest we did was 6.5 miles and he was energetic the whole time. He is such a wonderful dog who has so much love to give. His favorite things are squeaky toys, balls, and greatest of all car rides...Maybe belly rubs too." ❤️Email [email protected] for a foster or adoption application❤️

🚨Foster Needed🚨Carlee adores human interaction, loves to sunbathe, sleep and kick back on the couch while watching television. She has lived with dogs of all sizes in various homes and did well when strong leadership was present, however, we think presently she would do best as the only pet in the home. Carlee would prefer a semi-active home. She has a good amount of energy and would benefit from exercise and mental stimulation; however, she loves her relaxation time on the couch or in your lap too 😜 Please email [email protected] if you'd like to foster or adopt Carlee. Tazz turns 15 today! We rescued him a year ago and the shelter vet tried to talk us out of it saying that it wasn't worth it because he would only live a couple more weeks maximum. We decided that we would make his last couple of weeks great ones and be by his side when he went over the rainbow bridge...but one year later T is still thriving and bossing everyone around! Tazz is a fighter and loves to live. Happy 15th birthday to one kick ass dog👊❤️👑 #ChewsLifeDogRescue #seniordogsrule

Spartacus is 7 years old and was stuck at the shelter for months and months before his freedom ride. This is what his foster mom has to say about him: "He's pretty shy, I have never heard him bark, a little skeptical at first but once he knows you he loves playing with you. When I first met him he was skin and bones, super scared of everything and timid. Of course with lots of love and some time he has blossomed into an amazing little guy. He loves belly rubs, only eats dry food and drinks lots of water. He is now trained to go on a peepee pad or go for walks. He's extremely smart, sassy, loves dogs his size however he prefers female dogs; Spartacus is great with cats and even bunny rabbits! While staying with one of our team members he did well with both her small male and female dogs.
Spartacus's foster also has this to say about him: "Spartacus, once a very fearful, timid and shy dog has made a huge transformation the last few months. I have been working with him and giving him an abundant amount of love and affection and slowly but surely he has turned into a love bug. He now cuddles with me, allows me to pet him without him flinching, trusts me 100% and allows others to pet him as well. He loves all dogs his size but is afraid of bigger dogs. He is a picky eater but he loves watermelon, cucumber and oh my goodness cheese is differently his all time favorite. He has become super playful with me and loves all his toys. Anyone would be lucky to have him :)
He is fully potty pad trained and will only go on a potty pad or outside to do his business. Someone loving needs to adopt him! I suggest no young children cause kids can tend to pull and tug and play rough with dogs." Email [email protected] for a adoption application.
